So for the longest time…. I would always have these candles that would never burn to the edges and seemed to kinda fall into themselves..???🕯I always assumed it was just a dud or a candle that just wasn’t quite up to par. As it turns out, our candles have a memory! The 1st two hours of a candles life are crucial. The candle needs time to feel out it’s vessel and see how far it can spread out. Once that is done, the candle will attempt to repeat this exact length each time you light it. General rule of thumb is 2 hours for the 1st burn, then no more than 4 hours of burn time at a time. After that, if it’s a wooden wick candle, remember to ash it by rubbing your fingers on the wick and taking the extra ash off. Then light and enjoy!
